Turkey Tournament 2014 Draw and Information

Handicap Rules 
  • Matches are the best of three sets, with short games (first point after deuce and short sets (first to 6 games). At deuce, man serves to man and woman to woman in mixed doubles. In Men’s and Ladies doubles, the receiving pair chooses which player will receive serve.
  • Players should arrange their own matches to be played by the deadlines indicated below.
  • Match winners should enter the score, and contact their next round opponents (if known) immediately.
 Handicap Round Schedule (dates and handicaps updated 22:00 Fri Oct 24th)
  • Round 1: Before Sunday November 2nd
  • Round 2: Before Sunday November 9th
  • Round 3: Before Sunday November 16th
  • Round 4: Before Sunday November 23rd
  • Quarter Final: Before Sunday November 30th
  • Semi Final: Before Thursday December 4th
  • Final: Play on Friday December 5th.
 Applying the Handicaps

1. THE SEQUENCE IS RENEWED AFTER EVERY 6 GAMES

2. THE SEQUENCE BEGINS AT THE START OF EACH SET

HANDICAPPING SYSTEM EXAMPLES

  • If handicap is –15, you start every game at –15
  • If handicap is +15.2, you start 2 games out of the 6 at +30, the other games at +15.
  • If both handicaps are positive (or both are negative), take the difference (e.g. +30 vs +15 becomes +15 vs Scratch)

Important: The tournament finals will take place on Friday 5th December. Players must be available to play on this date - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are unable to play in the final, you are expected to concede your next match at match point and let your opponents proceed in the draw.
