Existing Rule 35:
A visitor/guest is a non-member who is accompanied by an existing club member. Procedures, costs & visitors times can be seen in each sections bye-laws. The same visitor may only play ONCE each month. A member can bring three visitors for doubles during visitor/guest hours but the three visitors can only play on one court with the member. All visitor fees must be paid in advance of play.
Proposed Rule 36: (Proposed by Management Committee)
Notwithstanding Rule 35, the management committee has discretion to enter into arrangements for court rental on terms as approved by it and the relevant section committee.
Proposed Rule 37: (Proposed by Margaret Ayers, Seconded by Gerry Finn)
No application for planning permission, nor any amendment or revision to a previous application, shall be submitted to Dublin City Council by or on behalf of the Club unless it has first been approved by a majority of those present, entitled to vote and voting at the Club Annual General Meeting or at a Special General Meeting called for that purpose.
