We are living in an extraordinary and worrying time. The Club and all facilities are closed and will continue to be closed until 19th April . We are following Government & HSE instructions and hope all members continue to do the same with social distancing and staying safe.
The Management Committee along with Club Manager Dee and Club Groundsman Colm have been dealing with the immediate issues: securing the Clubhouse and tennis courts; speaking with bar staff; security & members' queries and concerns.
The Club AGM is usually held in March. However, this year, due to measures introduced to prevent the spread of the disease Covid-19 we are unsure as to when the AGM will be held. A number of important decisions are made at the AGM each year such as setting the annual subscription fee and appointing trustees. To ensure the Club can continue to operate during this period the Management Committee has introduced a number of bye-laws under Rule 13 of the Rules of the Club to allow it manage the affairs of the Club until such time as it is possible to hold the AGM. These can be found in the members' section of the website under Mount Pleasant LTC Club Rules and Policies.
